Chris Spinal-Grabiel

Chris was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of eight, she began working in her parents’ restaurant along with her two brothers and one sister. She attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduation, she was offered a teaching position in Grand Rapids and has taught Elementary and Jr. High School for 34 years. Through her teaching career she learned much about children and the types of reading they enjoyed.

She was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Marlee Marie, who continues to teach her life lessons.

Chris’s hobbies include writing, reading, traveling, playing drums and guitar, scrapbooking, and going to Grand Haven to admire all the yachts she cannot afford.
